presentation
Between the warehouses in Boucherville and the
projection booth, between the curators and the spectators of the
Claude-Jutra theatre, between the archives and the exhibition rooms,
this film proposes a number of circuits that take stock of the perpetual
dialogue between films and audiences.

credits
As I finish this film, the employees of
the Cinémathèque are experiencing some difficult moments:
lay-offs, cutbacks, and temporary withdrawal from public activities.
These are the people who quietly – with their loving, calm gestures – go
about making the essential dialogue between films and audiences
possible, day in and day out. They are the soul of the
Cinémathèque, that site of culture and memory in a country
where we forget so easily.
This film is dedicated to them, with wholehearted gratitude
